On Friday, August 8, 2008, join Drink for Charity to celebrate the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing 2008 Summer Olympics at BEER OLYMPICS 2008. The event will feature the movie Beerfest-style competition with beer pong, flip cup and speed quarters determining who will take home the crown. Teams of 2-3 people will compete in a bracket competition with the ultimate winner bringing up DAS BOOT Trophy.

- $25 Entrance Fee (Per Person) - $30 at the door
- Warm-ups start at 5:00 PM - Game play begins at 6:00 PM
- All players receive special Beer Olympics pint glasses
- First 100 tickets purchased receive special Beer Olympics souvenir pint glass
- Bracket tournament with champion winning Boot Glass Trophy
- All participants and spectators can remain at Porky's NYC for remainder of night with $1 draft beer ALL NIGHT LONG

Final rules of game-play will be provided prior to the event. Please feel free to e-mail olympics@drinkforcharity.org with any further inquiries. TIcket orders must be placed above by Midnight (12:01 AM) on Friday, August 8, 2008 (the night of Thursday, August 7, 2008) to qualify for discounted advanced purchase price. First 100 ticket purchases will receive souvenir pint glasses.
- Participants and spectators receive all domestic draft beer for game play and open bar during the duration of the event (5 PM - 9 PM). How can you beat that on a Friday night?
Thirsty Third Thursday on Thursday, July 17th at 7 PM, Turtle Bay (52nd & 2nd). $20/$30 Open Bar.
