Founded in New York City in May 2007, Drink for Charity Inc. is an organization dedicated to promoting a culture of charity among young, urban professionals in major cities throughout the United States by hosting social events and coordinating voluteer opportunities. Charity is something that is usually not a huge priority for this group due to the high cost of living in major metropolitan areas and inaccessibility to volunteer and fundraising opportunities. Drink for Charity helps to bridge this gap by providing its community with the ability to have fun while supporting a good cause.
